Our communities, our future
At Fifth Third Bank, we pride ourselves on our community involvement. In 1948, we became the first financial institution in the United States to establish a charitable foundation. Today, we continue to invest the time, resources, and people to help improve lives in the communities we serve.
Fifth Third Bank has a long history of charitable giving and established the Fifth Third Foundation in 1948. Our Foundation Office reviews grant requests from organizations for the Fifth Third Foundation that meet the following preliminary qualifications: maintain IRS 501(c)(3) status, operate in Fifth Third's geographic region, and meet one of four core funding areas of community development, education, health and human services, or arts and culture.
To assess the eligibility of your organization, read the guidelines for grantseekers. For more information on grants and proposals, contact your local Fifth Third Community & Economic Development Office.
